New York Magazine is reporting that former NYC club veteran Peter Gatien — owner of the legendary NYC nightclubs Limelight, Tunnel and Palladium — has a grand plans to build an enormous new club in Toronto, Canada.
Gatien's newest project is called Circa and it will be a four-story, state-of-the-art nightclub / art museum / music-and-film venue designed to be more spectacular, more excessive and more hysterically fun than his previous NYC venues.
Grand opening is scheduled to June 2006.
