- The DFA follow up their first chapter of remixes earlier this year with a second volume, due to hit the shelves October 3. The DFA Remixes: Chapter Two will arrive on CD and double vinyl versions featuring remixes of Tiga, Hot Chip, Goldfrapp and U.N.K.L.E. The vinyl includes instrumental versions not available on CD.
- British duo Charlie May & Duncan Forbes, together known as Spooky, finally launched their official website with loads of music, charts etc.
- Love Parade: The biggest techno event of the world took place this year after a two year's break. Depending on the various sources there were between 1.2 and 1.5 million participants on the 15th of july 2006 at Tiergarten/Berlin around the Siegessaeule. And here's the pictures.
