Berlin Watergate club turns 4

October 17, 2006  |  By Filter27  |  0 Comments

w3220492874.jpgWhen a human turns 4 life just starts; when a club turns 4 it's actually not that bad; when a Berlin based club turns 4 that's nowadays in fact a success as surviving in a wild and unpredictable nightlife scene, surrounded by a difficult economy situation isn't that easy.

While other Berlin institutions disappeared or changed it's music program crucially to attract f.e. black music clubbers, Watergate kept and keeps the flag of techno fluttering in the wind and became an institution itself in the past 4 years. What began as a strict Drum'n Bass club lead into a story of developing to be a protagonist of techno though.

On Wednesday October 25, 2006 the Watergate team will celebrate the special way while a very special line-up of all major resident DJ's will play a back2back set. Set to play are Troy Pierce, Magda, Konrad Black, Matt John, Carsten Kleemann, Sebo K., Tom Clark, Jens Bond, Ruede Hagelstein, Marcus Meinhardt + a very special guest.
