Linkage: Numark Cue, Roger Sanchez, Plant Music, Fujitsu turntable laptop & Nick Warren in Prague

October 12, 2006  |  By Sotek  |  0 Comments

Numark are set to release their Cue software package, aimed at mixing audio and video on a computer, a strategic move as the market for hardware DJ solutions may well dwindle in the months to come. [365Mag] You can download a 20-day trial version of Cue here (16mb).

Roger Sanchez has launched a brand new personal portal. The site is packed with exclusive free content including free video, picture galleries and a preview of Roger’s brand new album "Come With Me".

New York's Plant Music will switch gears for a moment this fall and take a break from their "Sound of Young New York" series, instead presenting a compilation of tracks closer to home. The compilation will be released on November 14, 2006.

A brand new Fujitsu laptop prototype has a giant touchwheel on top that lets the notebook function as a digital turntable. It'll even connect wirelessly to an iPod for its music. [Gizmodo]

ZEN is one of Prague's cosiest, long lasting and most ambitious club nights. This weekend the Roxy crew invited Nick Warren to come along. "And Warren fired back: an acoustic war head of deep, tribal and progressive house to explode under the 8m high star-spangled ceiling of Roxy club." [365Mag]
