Nick Warren mixes another Global Underground compilation

October 1, 2006  |  By Sotek  |  1 Comments

nick_warren.jpgAccording to his MySpace page, Nick Warren is currently working on another Global Underground compilation - which will be his seventh for the acclaimed series.

"GU 030 - Paris" will be inspired by Warren's DJ set from Mix Club in Paris where he's scheduled to play on October 14, 2006.

His previous Global Underground releases include 003 - Prague, 008 - Brazil, 011 - Budapest, 018 - Amsterdam, 024 - Reykjavik and 028 - Shanghai.

Nick Warren became one of the first so-called "superstar DJs" in the mid- to late '90s, holding down a high-profile residency at Cream in England, touring around the world, and appearing on several DJ mix albums before they became commonplace. Though he spun an eclectic array of dance styles in the late '80s and early '90s, he eventually championed the late-'90s trance sound of labels like Hooj Choons and joined the ranks of other superstar DJs like Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, and Tall Paul. Furthermore, he dabbled a bit in production, collaborating with Jody Wisternoff as Way Out West.

Again I can say: I had a dream of Global Underground Berlin. It's a pity seeing Berlin a second time not being able to catch up on GU things.
