Soon Ukrainian capital Kiev will see it's biggest dance festival to date. On the weekend October 13rd/14th the Qievdance festival will be held at the Палацу Спорту (pronounced "palazu sportu"; translated: sport palace), a roofed over stadium.
Two stages will frame the main area, where international acts like The Freestylers or Sander van Doorn will appear along quite a bunch of Ukrainian artists. For all the goa experts out there surprise act Astral Projection had been invited to make their way from Israel. Though, most remarkable name of the line-up is Karl Bartos, co-author of the legendary Kraftwerk boys, who will deliver a combined DJ/VJ set. Another appearing act is Azzido da Bass, whose Timo Maas-remixed "Dooms Night" fame boosted him straight to Kiev..
