The US and the Russia have finally came to terms over their trade (and intelectual property protection differences), leading the US to OK Russian entry into the World Trade organization.
The official agreement noted that Russia has agreed to aid U.S. authorities in cracking down illegal websites such as those carrying bittorrent files or direct downloads of copyrighted music, movies and software - with AllofMP3.com being set as a prime example.
The agreement will also attempt to address critical issues, including but not limited to fighting optical disc piracy, Internet piracy, strengthening border enforcement against piracy and counterfeiting, among others.
According to the pact "Russia has provided information showing that through September, Russian authorities continue their efforts on IPR enforcement, with raids at comparable levels to last year. We believe that Russia is committed to more aggressive actions before the end of the year."
I hope they refund my money.
