Tresor Berlin to come back

November 20, 2006  |  By Filter27  |  0 Comments

logo_tresor.gifIt's been a while since Berlin's legendary club Tresor closed its doors in April 2005. Many artists came to play a good-bye gig; so will many artists come to play a welcome-back gig.

Ok, we're certainly not alone left with rolling eyes when thinking of somebody trying to revive a certain club atmosphere in a completely different setting, but... Tresor was something long lasting, something underground-esque, something that could (possibly) make it and to prove all of us wrong: revive the same "old" party feeling, just like when the world discovered Berlin's club scene.

Filter27 doesn't want to reveal any secrets or to anticipate in Tresor's "We are back!" annoucement, but there are some very interesting facts definitely worth mentioning:

The new venue will be an old industry warehouse, nearly 25 meters high. Although the venue itself isn't completely finished yet, some of the first "preview" parties had been held already, though. All we can say: it's huge, damn huge! Here's a hint where to look.

Timo Maas had been asked to hold a residency; and he said "Yes!" He will play Berlin's new old heart of techno six times a year.
