Darko Esser makes his debut on Ovum with 'Catatonic EP'

Earlier this month, the up and coming Dutch DJ/producer Darko Esser has made his debut on Josh Wink's Ovum Recordings with 'Catatonic' - a three track EP of bumping tech house already being championed by the likes of Carl Cox, Danny Howells, Nic Fanciulli, Darren Emerson, Laurent Garnier, Hernan Cattaneo, James Talk and many others.

Esser's first release came out on the Nijmegen (Netherlands) based Fingers Ltd. label in 2002, soon followed by releases on his own imprint Wolfskuil Records (established in 2003), Veto (The Raven EP), Flux and Steve Bug’s Audiomatique label.

Coming up in 2007 are releases on Deep Focus (Onionboy EP, with remixes by Le Clic a.o.) and Darren Emerson's Underwater imprint amongst others. He also remixed Mateo Murphy’s track ‘Solaris’ for Murphy's upcoming EP, as well as Baxter Priestly's ‘Release Your Head’ which will be out on Manual Music in January.
