Martinez - Restructured Layers

Following his Audiomatique Vol. 1.0 compilation released earlier this year on Steve Bug's Audiomatique Recordings, Danish DJ / producer Martin Swanstein aka Martinez has now mixed “Restructured Layers” - a compilation for his own imprint Out Of Orbit Recordings.

The mix contains loops and pieces from the Out Of Orbit back catalogue, blended together with tracks from Robert Babicz, Phil Stumpf, Willie Graff & Kyle Errison, Dibaba, Mars Fellows, Trentemoller, Jussi Pekka and Ibn Al-Khimyia among others.

Mixed entirely using Ableton Live, there are some parts in the mix where Martinez expertly blends together up to eight tracks at the same time.

Martinez hails from Sweden but moved to Denmark in 2000, where he now resides in Copenhagen. He's had tracks released on labels such as Dessous, Guidance, Audiomatique and most recently on Galaktika and Darkroom Dubs.

"Restructured Layers" is due for release on January 12, 2007.
