“Playloop” began as a party promotion company in the early 90s when Justin Paul and Steve Waller booked King Britt, DJ Dozia and other big name DJs to play in Huntington, West Virginia near the Marshall University campus. “We were entertaining and educating students and locals to music they couldn't hear on MTV or VH1 and they loved it! We had lines of people around the block in this college town in West Virginia which is 100s of miles away from a major city," Paul says. After a successful run as a promotion company, Playloop became an official record label in June 2006.

Playloop Records catalogue is available in digital format on Beatport, Rhapsody and iTunes.
