Sony Music Studios offer online mastering service

December 5, 2006  |  By Sotek  |  0 Comments

2006_12_sony_sim.jpgWhile the concept of "internet mastering" certainly isn't a new one, Sony Music Studios Internet Mastering (SIM) is the first service to offer a comprehensive, one-size-fits-all solution for any artist - major, independent, or novice.

SIM allows to upload up to four tracks per project (max. 25 minutes for each session or "project" at a time), where they can then be mastered for $99 each. Based on the type music you submit, one of SIM's highly experienced engineers will be selected to individually handle your project, usually within 48 hours.

Sony Music Studios is one of the premiere studio facilities in the world providing recording, mixing, mastered, HDTV studios, DVD authoring, graphic animation and new media services. SMS is located in New York City, with branches in California and London.
