Damero debuts with Happy In Grey

January 18, 2007  |  By Sotek  |  0 Comments

200701_damero_happy_in_grey.jpgBPitch Control's latest signing Marit Posch, a.k.a. Damero, will release her debut LP, Happy In Grey, on February 26.

Posch's grasp for stirring sounds and moving melodies is based on a classical music education, that she underwent first as a little girl in East Germany and later on in France, Italy and the U.S. At the same time she also collaborated and jammed with different musicians of the electronic and independent music scene in Berlin.

Now, on her first own release Posch infuses pop melodies and charming dance anthems, wrapping her instincts into a great piece of armchair dance music. Happy In Grey promises to be peculiarly simple, partly clubby, partly experimental - infused with beautiful melodies, smooth voices and fabulous beats.

Guests on the album included Berlin-based producer Henri Hagenow, Apparat, AGF, Zander VT, Headkit and Nevis Peak.
