Irish-Indian house DJ, producer and label owner Seamus Haji provides this week's Essential Mix on UK's BBC Radio 1.

Haji spent many years working in London’s foremost independent record shops such as Red Records, Release The Groove and Uptown Records, taking on A&R management roles at Slip 'N' Slide and Defected Records, as well as writing for publications such as Blues & Soul, Echoes, Touch and Muzik. He has already became a regular fixture at renowned clubs such as Ministry Of Sound and Pacha.

He has also enjoyed numerous residencies around the globe, including the four years at Pacha, Ibiza. Together with Defected Records’ co-founder Janet Bell, Haji set up and runs his own imprint Big Love.
