Linkage: London raves, Nick Warren, Pete Tong, Rage Against the Machine to reunite

January 22, 2007  |  By Sotek  |  1

- The New York Times has published an article about new generation of ravers under London Bridge. "The new rave scene is a small, tightly connected movement of artists, D.J.’s, bands and partygoers forged in a series of warehouse parties..."

- Pete Tong returns to London's Ministry Of Sound to launch his new night Wonderland on March 3. The night promises an adventure filled with sights, sounds and energy. "Having enjoyed an amazing year with Ministry in 2006, we took the party way beyond my expectations. Wonderland concept will enable me to evolve the night even further," says Tong.

- BeatFactor caught up with Nick Warren and chatted about his forthcoming Paris compilation for Global Underground, new Way Out West material, his collaboration with Jimmy Van M, Hope Recordings and more.

- Rage Against the Machine, the seminal L.A. band that made heavy music into political manifesto, will reunite after a seven-year hiatus as the headliners for a single performance at a southern California Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April, the Los Angeles Times reported on Sunday.
