- British Cr2 Records launched a new label - Cr2 Digital. The new imprint will feature slightly more underground club tracks. However, the new imprint will also press a very limited run of 500 vinyls for each release.

- Big changes are ahead at V2 Records, as the label is currently in the midst of being restructured into a catalog label. On Friday, January 12, V2's parent company Sheridan Square let the entire V2 staff go, including label president Andy Gershon.
