Linkage: Pantha Du Prince, Native Instruments, Ellen Allien, Kill Memory Crash

January 18, 2007  |  By Sotek  |  0 Comments

- Pantha Du Prince's (the solo project of Hendrik Weber) follow-up to his 2004 LP "Diamond Daze" is out on January 29. Titled "This Bliss," the album will be released on German minimal techno imprint Dial Records.

- Months after they cut the cord with long-time partner Stanton and Final Scratch, Native Instruments is not surprisingly back with their own vinyl control solution, Traktor Scratch, and a new audio interface, the Audio 8 DJ. [CDM]

- Chicago's Kill Memory Crash explain in an interview with M-Audio about using Ableton Live in their studio and live setup: "Maybe this sounds like a commercial, but without M-Audio, I don't know where we would be right now. Probably behind schedule to say the least.”

- XLR8R's latest DJ Mix Podcast Series comes from techno pioneer Ellen Allien, who hand selected and mixed a collection of some of her freshest new cuts. Titled "No Snow In Berlin," the mix showcases her own work as well as some of the hottest tracks from artists like Dabrye, Feadz, Modeselektor, and more.
