- "Between Noise & Transmission", the debut from Seattle, US based SD6, will be officially released on January 30th, via Tom Shear's 23db Records. Shear (aka Assemblage 23) also does production duties on the album

- Jori Hulkkonen's pop project, Processory, will release its self titled debut album on February 14 via Playground Music on both CD and vinyl formats. First single from the new album titled 'Mercury' is up on Processory's MySpace page.

- MP3.com features Morgan Page in its "Up and Coming" section. "Morgan Page transcends his log-cabin lineage and captures the imagination of the DJ illuminati, advertisers, and the martini-with-olive jet-set crowd." Oh boy!

- The anti-digital rights management (DRM) bandwagon is getting more crowded by the day. Even some major-label executives are pushing for the right to sell digital downloads as unprotected MP3s. [Reuters/Billboard]

- Sirius Satellite Radio announced today that it has broken the 6 million subscriber mark (with 2.7 million new subscribers in 2006 only) and reports its first profitable quarter so far.
