Canadian techno DJ and producer Mike Shannon starts 2007 with the release of "Tacticle Blue" - the first of three part "Tacticle" EP series on his own imprint Cynosure Recordings.
Followed by "Tactile Red" for release in February and last part of the series scheduled for March is "Tactile Green," each colour represents a specific tonal palette - an earth, wind and fire approach - of Shannon's techno and house productions.
Mike Shannon is recognized as one of the central figures in Canada's emerging electronic music scene thanks to his relentless DJ schedule and acclaimed releases on labels such as Force Inc., Wagon Repair, ~scape, Num and many others. He has been actively promoting a very specific genre of minimal house and techno that today is reaching a new level of awareness in the global EDM community.
"Tacticle Blue" is out on January 29.
