Oliver Huntemann to release Play! 01

DJ, producer and label owner Oliver Huntemann is set to release the debut installment of his new mix compilation series in February on his own imprint Confused Recordings.

Titled "Play! 01," the mix was recorded live at renowned club D-Edge in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 29, 2006. British DJ Mag rated D-Edge amongst the top 40 of international clubs with slightly more famous nightlife institutions like London's Fabric or Frankfurt's Cocoon Club. "Play! 01" is also Huntemann's first mix CD in seven years.

Huntemann explains:

"The D-Edge is simply one of the best clubs worldwide. It has the perfect size and a mind blowing light installation - not to mention the insane sound-system. The crowd consists of beautiful and interesting people, who know about music and have no problem at all to freak out and to let themselves go. That night definitely was one of my personal highlights in 2006. There couldn't be a better start for my new compilation series."

The compilation contains 16 tracks from the likes of Sebastian Leger, Gui Boratto, Stephan Bodzin, Petter, Huggotron (John Dahlback), Jan Driver and The Knife. The CD also features an exclusive remix of Extrawelt’s “51 Poland Street” and Huntemann's own tune "Sao Paulo," which was exclusively produced for this CD.
