Beatport launches online Beatport Player

February 15, 2007  |  By Sotek  |  1 Comments

logo_beatport.gifOne of the world's leading digital download stores, Beatport.com has recently introduced a brand new online viral marketing tool which allows anyone to stream tracks snippets via Flash-based player from Beatport's massive (100k+ tracks as of now) catalogue on websites and blogs.

Developed in joined forces with Native Instruments, Beatport Player generates a unique HTML code according to certain criteria (Artist, Label, Chart, Top downloads, Genre, or Release) which you can then add to your website, blog, message board, MySpace profile, etc.

The newly launched Beatport Player is undoubtedly a great way to reach out to the consumer. Expect it to spread all over the web in the near future.

Example: This embedded player allows you and your visitors to stream and play 30 tracks from the Crosstown Rebels label catalogue:

Hi I just wanted to clarify, the 'Beatport Player' was not developed in conjunction with Native Instruments. That's another piece of software aptly named the 'Beatport-Traktor Player'...sorry for the confusion!
