Fabric 33 - Ralph Lawson

Leeds, UK- based DJ, producer and 20:20 Vision label owner Ralph Lawson has been chosen to mix the next installment in the acclaimed Fabric compilation series.

To be released in March, Lawson's Fabric mix features 16 tracks from the likes of Will Saul, Joakim, Greenskeepers, Justus Kohncke, Dennis Ferrer, Marc Romboy, Vernon, Swag, and many others.

Lawson explains:

"I just went into the studio and did it all in one take. All I was thinking about was the next record; I had already sourced the tracks I wanted to use. I’m not very nationalistic, but I wanted to represent what was coming out of Britain as well as at the moment there's a lot of really good new music."

Lawson has been DJing since late eighties. He holds the honour of playing the first ever record at the legendary Leeds club Back To Basics. Besides his own name, he has produced and released records under the monikers 2020 Soundsystem (together with Danny Ward, Fernando Pulichino and Julian Sanza), Chuggles, Otaku, Soul Edge, Spikey, Urban Farmers, Wolf n' Flow, etc.
