February 25, 2007  |  By Sotek  |  0 Comments

- Hippies, stoners, and folk freaks the world over wept on Friday as it was announced that Arthur Magazine will close its doors after five years of delivering discourse and pretty pictures on art and music. [via Pitchfork]

- USA Today reports that despite all the hubbub about CDJs, iPod mixers and DJing software taking over the world, DJ’s are still keeping vinyl alive.

- Jeff Mills and his longtime partner Yoko Uozumi have culled from the many fashions seen on their world travels and opened a high-end boutique in Chicago called the Gamma Player Shop. [via XLR8R]

- Offenbach-based club Robert Johnson has decided to fight against DJ hype by refusing to publish their lineups. "The club and its guests are the stars," says the club's official website.
