Freak n'Chic presents Rendez-Vous 01

Paris-based house and electro imprint Freak n'Chic is set to release its debut label compilation in April.

Titled "Rendez-Vous" the compilation features artists and tracks that have shaped the label over the four years of its existence; showcasing its past, present and future - on two CDs.

"At the beginning, Freak n'Chic started for my friends and myself to have a label to see our music on vinyl. For many of them it was their first release and gave them the chance to prove they have their own sound. Discovering new talent is one of the goals of the label and gives the opportunity for our music style to be defused," says Freak n'Chic's co-founder Dan Ghenacia. "After four years, it was natural to have a compilation," he added.

CD 1 (unmixed) contains 12 exclusive tracks by artists such as Jamie Jones, Sebastien Bouchet, Marc Antona, Alfa Romero, Monoblock, and U&I (a collaboration between label boss Dan Ghenacia and French producer David K). CD 2 is a continuous DJ mix of the finest Fn'C releases to date mixed by labelmates Shonky and Dyed Soundorom.
