- Fact Magazine caught up with lone-ranging dubstep producer Shackleton, who talks about the forthcoming Skull Disco compilation, getting remixed by Ricardo Villalobos and dressing up as an ancient Egyptian god.

- The NYC Village Voice paper takes a look at some of the dance music sub-genres and notes that a lot of today's most interesting pop has made some connection with electronic dance music. Go figure...

- Canadian techno DJ, producer and Wagon Repair label co-founder, Mathew Jonson, will release his debut, yet untitled artist album in June.

- What happened to Bedrock's Original Series? It seems like only yesterday that we were tearing the wrapping off of Luke Fair's brilliant entry. In reality however, that was July 2005; almost two years ago. [via JiaNe]

- Tiesto has officially been announced as the new DJ for Radio station 538 in the Netherlands. He is replacing DJ Jean, who had a weekly show over the last few years, as some argue to his frustration. [via 365Mag]
