- On his latest website update, Dave Seaman detailed his reasons for skipping this year's Winter Music Conference, as well as revealing his plans to hit the studio. Seaman also commented on the response he received for his rant against what he perceived as an "obsession with labeling" genres among the press. [via JiaNe]

- Resident Advisor caught up with UK-based breaks DJ, producer and Fabric London resident, Tayo. "There's a load of really disgusting electronic stuff coming out of England right now, and it'd be a shame not to play it."

- Deutsche Telekom's Musicload, one of the largest online music stores in Europe, has come out strongly against DRM on account of its effects on the marketplace and its customers due to the fact that 75% of customer service problems are DRM-related. [via ArsTechnica]

- Skrufff caught up with DJ, producer and one half of Partial Arts, Ewan Pearson, to talk music, Berlin, flipping burgers and more.
