Modeselektor mix Boogy Bytes Vol. 3

Berlin-based duo Gernot Bronsert & Sebastian Szary, a.k.a. Modeselektor, are set to release their first official DJ-mix - in the form of a BPitch Control Boogy Bytes compilation.

Out in late April, Boogy Bytes Vol. 3 is a crazy ride through decades of electronic music, pimped by the finest IDM and hip hop. The mix features almost 30 tracks, remixes and re-edits, including cuts from the likes of Paul Kalkbrenner, dubstep heroes Skream and Burial, James Holden, Mr. Oizo, Radiohead, Bobby Peru, Carl Craig, Nathan Fake, and more.

A favourite group of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, Modeselektor have already released several records on Ellen Allien's imprint, most recently the track "Untitled" on BPich Control's forthcoming label compilation Camping 03.

Modeselektor's second full-lenght album, a follow-up to their 2005 debut Hello Mom, is scheduled for release sometime in September.
