Stephen J. Kroos releases Tecktonick

March 5, 2007  |  By Sotek  |  1 Comments

200703_stephen_j_kroos_tecktonick_anjunabeats.jpgDutch trance DJ and producer Stephen J. Kroos will release his long-awaited artist LP titled Tecktonick through Anjunabeats on March 12.

Influenced by the likes of Depeche Mode, Jean Michel Jarre, Yello, and Kraftwerk, Kroos has only recently ventured into major production with Phantazmz / Optimistick EP released on Anjunabeats in 2004, followed by Sadisctick in 2006.

A long time in the making, Tecktonick showcases the whole spectrum of the Kroos sound, covering dark chunky tech-trance, electro, thundering breaks, as well as haunting, ambient soundscapes. The LP is already receiving support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Eddie Halliwell, Sander van Doorn, and others.

All tracks on the CD are sequed together, but remain 'DJ friendly' with discrete mix points. Future singles from the album will include "4 Your Taperecorder" and "Formalistick".
