Linkage: Glastonbury Festival, Josh Wink, Dubfire, Henrik Schwarz

April 2, 2007  |  By Sotek  |  0 Comments

- Yet again the Glastonbury Festival has sold all its tickets in record time. According to organisers, the 137,500 tickets which were available to the public were all gone in less than two hours after going on sale on Sunday at 9am BST. On April 22 at 9.00am there will be a second sale of tickets which have been returned, or where payments have been declined.

- Ali Shirazinia, aka Dubfire, is breaking from the Yoshitoshi family (though he will remain a behind-the-scenes financial partner) to start his own digital-only imprint, SCI+TECH. [via Danceblogga]

- Philadelphia-based DJ and producer Josh Wink makes his debut on Steve Bug's imprint Poker Flat Recordings with the release of 12-inch titled "Thick As Thieves". Out April 23, the vinyl holds two tracks in typical Wink style, both infected with his trademark 303 lines.

- Earplug caught up with Berlin-based DJ and producer Henrik Schwarz to talk early music-making days, his label Sunday Music, and more.
