The London-based duo Clive Henry and Justin Drake, aka Peace Division, are finally back with a new material. Titled Soft Heavy the three-track EP will be released on Crosstown Rebels in mid-June.
Soft Heavy follows the duo's most recent remixes of Audio Soul Project's unforgettable classic "Community" (out soon on NRK) and Kerri Chandler's "Bar A Thym" (out now).
The tracks from the EP are already receiving plays from the likes of Luciano and Steve Bug, and one of them (Voodoo) has been recently picked up by Loco Dice for his new TimeWarp CD compilation.
But expect no "Club Therapy" or "Blacklight Sleaze" as the new material is a bit 'stripped down', with more minimalistic feel and vibe, offering a twist to their distinctive and bass-heavy 'Peace Division' sound.
The duo's gigs this year will include one of the final Stink parties in London, a tour of Australia and forthcoming residency (again) in DC10 in Ibiza, Switzerland, and across the U.K.
