Audioriver Festival 2007

After the enormous success of last year’s Audioriver Festival, where more than 20,000 people showed up, it is likely that the following you’re about to read is nothing more than a superfluity.

For the second time the festival will be held at the banks of the Vistula River near the city of Plock (Map, Flyer) in Poland on August 3rd & 4th. And you know what? The two-day event will not cost you a cent.

Artists from across the pond will make their way to Plock this year. Regardless of the amount of praise the festival received last year chances are that the performances slated to take place this year are sure to receive even more.

In addition to numerous techno DJs, the British drum & bass legends Fabio & Grooverider have agreed to do a special performance together.

Other performers include X-Press 2, Spooky, Hybrid, Jamie Jones and more. Detroit-based producer Matthew Dear is also on the bill. He will perform live together with his new 3-piece band.
