Linkage: Trent Reznor, Ed Banger, NYC's Cielo, Tiësto, Lee Burridge gets Balanced?

June 06, 2007  |  By Sotek  |  0 Comments

- In an interview with Australia's Herald Sun, the Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor talks about the current state of the music industry, ignorant record companies and more: "I steal music too, I'm not gonna say I don't."

- In a recent interview with clubZone.com the world's #1 trance DJ Tiësto talks - besides other topics such as AIDS - about his new album Elements Of Life. In his own words: "I’m just caught-up in two sounds at the moment. One is more my mainstream sound and then my roots from the underground are still in me." For some reason we can't think of anything "underground" on that album.

- Premier New York City club Cielo continues to bring world-class talent to its highly-acclaimed intimate club setting. This summer brings a series of events including several US exclusives. Just look at the line-up. Do we need to say more?

- Resident Advisor profiles the Paris-based label Ed Banger.

- Luke Fair's Balance 011 has just been released and the speculation who's going to be next already started. Rumor has it that UK-based DJ and producer Lee Burridge is mixing the latest installment. Drop us a line if you've got some info ;-)
