German producer Ralf Hildenbeutel has recently released a new artist album, Music from the Scape, via the Offenbach-based imprint Schallbau Rec.
Music from the Scape is a collection of eight very interesting cuts which were originally made for the "Scape Youth Pavillion" on the EXPO2000. The tracks were composed and arranged in a way that they could run at the same time in several areas without interfering each other while you were walking through the scape.
Hildenbeutel has re-edited, remastered and remixed some of the tracks especially for the album. There is also a "Special Longform Online Edition" of Music from the Scape available with full-length versions.
Hildenbeutel is best known as the studio partner of Sven Väth, with whom he made several classic tracks and artist albums, and - together with Markus Deml - the ambient/new age outfit Earth Nation. He's also done remixes for artists such as Anne Clark, Robert Palmer, Yello, Enigma, and Sandra, in addtion to Laurent Garnier and Energy 52.
