Put simply, the days of spending hours searching for that special tune that no one else has, in the basement of your local record shop have gone. And that's a real shame.
It sure is a shame. I can remember spending hours and hours, mostly at Satellite Records here in NYC, browsing through hundreds of records. Now all you need is a laptop and a broadband connection..
So damn true.
Do you think all this has made it easier for the independent musician - esp. ones like myself who dont 'FIT' the mould - to find a way to market their music though ???? Still trying to answer that for myself ...
