London, UK based DJ and producer Skream (aka Ollie Jones), one of the most respected and influential names on the dubstep scene, provides this week's Essential Mix on UK's BBC Radio 1.
Jones (MySpace) began producing music at the age of 15 and has worked on roughly 1,500 songs. He has released records on a variety of UK record labels, such as Tempa, Tectonic, and Big Apple Records, including a 2006's self titled album on the Tempa label.
Can you believe this guy is only 21 years old!?

Dubstep is usually not really my kind of thing, but I do like the sound of this mix.
Download this, listened to this whilst noddin off in bed, was off the chain ;)
Dubstep is not my cup of coffee either so I was kinda speptical at first - but after giving it a proper listen I have to say that this mix is awesome. He's currently one of the most talented producers out there. Period. And if you haven't checked out his self titled artist album yet you better do so asap - it's worth it.
Skream mixes are smooth, nuff said! : )
First time ever hearing of dupstep, and diggin' it very much.
great mix some heavy trax, don't know why they making a big deal about him being 21 , prefect age to be making music
I think the age thing is to do with the fact hes made so many tunes for his age.
mix was good but people new to dubstep need to note this is not the only style of dub out there. its like dnb, lots of genres within a genre
I like Dubstep, but it is a fad. Skream's production and mixing is so good that this lad won't be going anywhere as long as he moves with the times. I enjoyed the set very much!
I don't understand the age thing either. Most people make lots of tunes at a young age. They are motivated, they might still be living with their parents so no need for a full-time job, therefore they have enough time to dedicate to their hobby.
