July 13, 2007  |  By Sotek  |  0 Comments

- Create Digital Music has a great article/interview on musician, songwriter and synth builder Thomas Dolby. "There’s no reason why the best music can’t still be ahead of me."

- John Digweed has just finished Vol. 3 of the Transitions compilation series. "I am realy happy with this one. Proper heads down and quite relentless," says Digweed in a short message posted on Bedrock forums. More info to come soon.

- Resident Advisor talks music, DJing and working nine to five with Detroit-based DJ and producer Ryan Elliott. "I want to be known first and foremost as a DJ," says Elliott in the interview.

- In a letter to the New England Journal of Medicine, doctors from Vancouver General Hospital detail the case of a 37-year-old man who was admitted for treatment of lightning-related burns on his neck, face, and chest. The letter says that the iPod the man was wearing conducted the current through his body. [via Engadget]

- The U.S. Court of Appeals has rejected a request to delay the onset of new royalty fees that could wipe out most of the US-based Internet radio stations. [via TechCrunch]
