Linkage: Ibiza, Claude VonStroke, Ricardo Villalobos, Samantha Ronson, and more DRM mess

- In the past week, a tide of black fuel spewing from a sunken oil tanker has prompted the closure of three of Ibiza's most popular beaches. The sad news comes on top of the closure last month of three major clubs, Amnesia, Bora Bora and DC-10, following a crackdown on an alleged drug-dealing by police and local authorities.

- Newcity Chicago takes a quick look at San Francisco-based DJ and producer Claude VonStroke.

- The August issue of The Wire magazine features Ricardo Villalobos on the cover, including an interview with him by Philip Sherburne. On newsstands very soon.
