- In his latest RA column, blogger Ronan Fitzgerald writes about a new breed of deep house producers who are shaking up Europe. "The signs of DJs shifting away from 'minimal' and towards more classically deep sounds are everywhere. [..] After the relative modernism of the last few years, it's almost ironic that there's now a real buzz in the minimal scene about the kind of revivalist, classic house sounds that never really go away, with reference points like Theo Parrish, Moodymann and Kerri Chandler popping up again and again."
- Roger Semsroth, a.k.a. Sleeparchive, and Finnish producer Antti Rannisto both have a 10-track split CD in the pipeline. The album will be released via Sleeparchive's own imprint next month.
- DJDownload.com slightly drop their prices between 15p and 55p per track for both new releases and catalogue. The majority of pre-release promos & exclusives will also be at the new standard price.
