Linkage: Tiësto, Mark Ronson, New line-up at BBC Radio 1, EMU in Central Park

- Fans reportedly rioted in Bahrain after Dutch trance king Tiësto was a no-show for a party there. In a statement on his official website, Tiësto blames a local promoter who, as he claims, fled without paying him and was later caught at the Saudi Arabian border and subsequently jailed. - UK's BBC Radio 1 announced a new line-up of dance DJs. They've refreshed their dance music show 'In New DJs We Trust' with four up and coming jocks, including Kissy Sell Out and DJ Misstress De Funk who will play minimal and techno. [via Beatportal]

- The New York Times takes a look at indie DJ Mark Ronson. The paper notes that Ronson also performed at the wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

- This Saturday (July 14th) New York City's Central Park will witness a free dance party organised by Electronic Music Umbrella (EMU). Line-up: Hector Romero, DJ Exacta, Steven Lee (a.k.a. Lee Cabrera) and Alex Pearce. The event will take place from 3PM - 8PM on the Great Hill.
