Oscar G. mixes Nervous Nitelife: Space Miami

Miami house DJ and producer Oscar G., one-half of Murk, Liberty City and Funky Green Dogs, has a new CD/DVD project in the pipeline.

Titled Nervous Nitelife: Space Miami, the compilation will be released on NYC-based Nervous Records in late October.

The mix was recorded live at the legendary Club Space in Downtown Miami, FL where he's been a resident for almost seven years now. The live recording comes complete with all the attendant sound effects, crowd noise and special effects. "This album and film is an attempt to capture a realistic moment of what a Saturday night at Space is; with all the sights, sounds and beats," he explains.

A quick glance at the tracklist reveals 17 dark, dirty and twisted house tracks in total, including those of Sebastien Leger, The Southern Brothers, and fellow Miami DJ's Ralph Falcon and Stryke. The mix also feaures his own new track "Chunky Buddha."

The bonus DVD features a real-time video recording of Space during his set. In addition, there are interviews with Miami nightlife celebrities who give their own views on what makes Oscar G. special.
