- Beatport announced the upcoming launch of Beatsource.com. Launching winter 2008, Beatsource will focus on high-quality urban and hip-hop music content. Track prices will range from USD $1.49 to $2.49 based on the music’s exclusivity and release date.
- Pitchfork gives Music 6.8 out of 10. "The review has split the music community, with many decrying Pitchfork's lukewarm reception of music as a contrarian move designed to propel the publication's tastemaker status."
- Berlin's Berghain and Panorama Bar's resident DJ's will premiere an exclusive Resident Night at Cielo in NYC on September 13th, 2007 featuring Marcel Dettmann. Also performing is Spectral Sound's resident DJ, Ryan Elliott. More info here.

- Peter Hook talks to Billboard about his post-New Order plans. "With the demise of New Order, I was happy to just not play for a while but now I'm missing it. And I want to get into it as soon as possible," Hook says.
