German producer Glander recently released a very solid album on the ever-satisfying One Bit Wonder netlabel.
To be perfectly honest I have no idea who Glander is; all I can tell you is that he's from Berlin and — according to his rather short Discogs page — he's been producing music since 1999.
Anyway, the album is called Vate and consists of six excellent dub techno (a la Rod Modell / Basic Channel / Chain Reaction) tracks, all infused with melodic chords, deep atmospheric echoes and bouncing basslines. Standouts are "Drift" and Daniel Stefanik's (Moon Harbour, Cargo Edition) excellent 14-minute rework of "Zavial".
You can download the entire album for free (all 256kbps MP3s) here.

Love this stuff. If this is the style you're really into Sotek, let's have more!
@karl: I've been a big fan of dub techno for years, so you can expect more such posts in the near future.
have no idea about Glander? The Man is touched by the hand of genius. Haven't heard anything lately that impressed me more than this guy. Amazing depth of the pieces, rich flavor and so much more. Definitely most visionary and original artists in electronic music scene. How it can be that he publishes mostly on netlabels? but who cares...He deserves a lot of applause. His ep for YukiYaki called "heavyweights" is something undescribably beautiful. Wherever he releases his works, these are the best among the rest. Surely doubt that any of (as you said) ever-satisfying works from 1bit label is half as good as glndr works. I'm electronic music listener for about 20 years and it's really hard to impress me with something fresh. He made it.Chapeau pas!
@splinterx: I wouldn't necessarily call his music "genius," however, it is definitely interesting and worth checking out. I'm also wondering why he's putting out stuff only on netlabels... very strange.
