It seems like London-based Fabric Records are on a roll this year. After mixes from Luciano, Robert Hood and Mark Farina, the series continues with another promising installment: a mix from the German deep house duo Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann, aka Âme. Out mid-September, a quick glance at the tracklist reveals that Fabric 42 is sure not to disappoint. Stay tuned.

saw ame last year at bloom festival, blew my sox off!! bangin deep techno bizniz....
Very nice release, full interview with them about this mix here: www.minimaland.com
I played the CD last night..............wow !!!
Amazing. Must admit I had not heard of them before.
But this is such a shift away from all the minimal bleeps etc. which I like, but has been way to overexposed of late.
It starts of in a kinda deep tribal percussive way, then heads into darker/deeper techno teritory. "An American Poem" is the best lyrics I have heard for ages....awesome and very moving.
Excellent mix, this will be getting caned for ages.
And yes, Fabric are definatley putting out some really good mixes recently.........Simian Mobile Disco was also a gem (for the Tech House heads).
PS. Also loving Tenaglias' "Futurism"
@KB: I agree with you 100% - excellent compilation! Oh yeah and I'm not that crazy about the new Tenaglia mix-CD. I prefer his GU comps...
