Deadbeat's (aka Scott Monteith) eagerly anticipated new studio album Roots And Wire is nothing short of excellent. Out now on Canadian Wagon Repair imprint, the LP offers eight dub laden and bass-heavy cuts, including two tracks featuring vocals from Caribbean-born vocalist and frequent Rhythm & Sound collaborator Paul St Hilaire (aka Tikiman). If you’re into dub with a twist of dubstep and reggae, this is the album for you. A sure pitch for one of Filter27's best albums of the year.
